Our after-school art classes at Oak Street Studios are set up on a trimester schedule: Fall, Winter, and Spring.
All summer camps are mixed ages 6 and up, unless otherwise specified. We group students together according to age and ability and try to be sure all students have at least one peer during their camp.
PLEASE NOTE: We follow the Portland public school’s snow cancelations. If Portland public schools close, we close.

ABOUT OUR AFTER-SCHOOL ART CLASSES...
Classes are 1 hour or 1 1/2 hours and meet once a week for three trimesters. Our "College for Kids" curriculum means that students are introduced to methods and materials inspired by college courses and taught by instructors who are practicing artists within our community. Our projects are based in art history and children's literature; we use fine arts materials and incorporate local field trips. We also host a First Friday Art Walk opening of student work at the end of each trimester and host summer-long art camps!
